Design a 1:16 scale bike rack prototype and appearance model for an existing space on Ohio State University's campus

Inspiration
The design mimics the repeating brutalist architectural features of the building, Nanotech West Lab
The building has many distinct features, ultimately I chose to play off of the far right image above.
As it is next to the location of a great spot for a bike rack, as seen below.
Iteration
Iterating forms based on features of Nanotech West Lab
Process
Once I found my trajectory, I built an adjustable full-scale model prototype
The final appearance model was made out of 180 pieces of hand-cut paper, then glue was placed on the edges of the paper stacks to keep them together.
Finally, the models were placed on a replica of the concrete pattern in my existing space
